  • Selalu periksa kembali dan verifikasi sebelum melakukan pembayaran. Pastikan apakah itu adalah pemilik yang sebenarnya. Jika berurusan melalui agen, periksa kredensial mereka. Jika memungkinkan, jadwalkan survei lokasi (viewing). Tunggu hingga menerima kontrak sebelum menyelesaikan pembayaran.

  • Waspadai penipuan. Jika agen atau pemilik menolak memberikan dokumentasi apa pun atau bersikap tidak jelas mengenai ketentuan kontrak dan harga, berhati-hatilah. Jika tawaran terlalu bagus untuk menjadi kenyataan, biasanya memang begitu.
